ReadMirror Privacy Policy

Scope and purpose
This policy applies to ReadMirror (朗读镜), a general-purpose local reading self-comparison tool. You provide a short passage, read it aloud, keep two takes, listen to an A/B comparison, choose what you heard, and optionally replay the session from a local timeline.
Data stored on the device
The current version stores session metadata, passage text that you enter or confirm, an optional cropped image that you choose to keep, voice recordings from active sessions, waveform caches derived from those recordings, and temporary deletion or undo state. These items use Apple's local data framework and the app's Application Support folder with relative paths. They are not sent to Qiquverse or another service.
No collection or tracking
ReadMirror has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, cloud sync, remote AI, or server processing. The current version makes no network request for your passages, photos, recordings, waveforms, or session metadata. On-device text recognition uses Apple's Vision framework for Simplified Chinese and remains on the device.
Permissions and Apple services
Camera access is requested only after you choose to take a passage photo and see the purpose explanation. Photo selection uses Apple's PhotosPicker and reads only the photo you select; the app does not request full photo-library access. Microphone access is requested when you start recording, and recording runs only while you actively record a take. The app does not request location, contacts, notifications, speech recognition, biometrics, iCloud, or CloudKit access in this release. Apple provides the operating-system permission prompts and local storage environment; ReadMirror does not receive a copy of those permission records.
Retention and deletion
Your local data remains until you delete it. An abandoned take is removed. Deleting a timeline session removes its recordings, waveform caches, optional cropped image, and metadata together. Removing the app normally removes its local container. Device backup and restore are controlled by iOS; keep a backup if you need to preserve local recordings.
Security and changes
Local-only storage reduces exposure but cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a device passcode and keep iOS updated. We will update this policy before introducing accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, purchases, remote processing, or other material data handling.

保存在设备本地的数据
当前版本会在本机保存会话记录、你输入或确认的文字、你选择保留的可选裁剪图、主动练习产生的录音、由录音生成的波形缓存，以及删除或撤销时的临时状态。这些内容使用 Apple 本地数据框架和 App 的 Application Support 目录保存，并使用相对路径。它们不会发送给 Qiquverse 或其他服务。
不收集、不追踪
朗读镜没有账户、广告、统计、追踪 SDK、云同步、远程 AI 或服务器处理。当前版本不会为了你的文字、照片、录音、波形或会话记录发起网络请求。设备端文字识别使用 Apple Vision 框架处理简体中文，内容留在设备本地。
权限与 Apple 服务
只有你选择拍摄课文并看到用途说明后，App 才会请求相机权限。选择照片使用 Apple 的 PhotosPicker，只读取你选择的那一张，不请求完整照片库权限。你开始录音时才会请求麦克风，录音只在你主动录制一遍时进行。本版本不请求定位、通讯录、通知、语音识别、生物识别、iCloud 或 CloudKit 权限。Apple 提供系统权限提示和本地存储环境；朗读镜不会收到这些权限记录的副本。
保留与删除
本地数据会保留到你主动删除。放弃的一遍会被删除。从时间线删除一次记录时，会同步删除录音、波形缓存、可选裁剪图和元数据。删除 App 通常会移除其本地容器。设备备份和恢复由 iOS 控制；如果需要保留本地录音，请保留备份。
安全与变更
只在本地保存可以降低暴露风险，但不能保证绝对安全。请使用设备密码并保持 iOS 更新。如果未来加入账户、云同步、统计、广告、购买、远程处理或其他重要的数据处理方式，我们会在上线前更新本政策。
