PawPals Privacy Policy

Scope
This policy applies to PawPals (萌爪成长园), a parent-child task and virtual pet app. It explains how the current iOS version handles child profiles, tasks, pet growth, family connection, evidence thumbnails, optional HealthKit step verification, notifications, and private iCloud synchronization.
Information stored
The app may store a child nickname, birth year and age mode, education-style preference, pet name and species, pet mood and growth values, badges, daily task titles and categories, completion status, self-rating, parent-review status, captions, and a thumbnail selected as task evidence. These records are used to show tasks, update the pet, provide parent review, and display family progress.
Local storage and iCloud
SwiftData stores the records on the device. When the user is signed in to iCloud and the CloudKit container is available, SwiftData may synchronize the family records through the user's private iCloud database. This is not a public social feed. The family invite code is a household confirmation marker and is stored with the child profile. Apple controls iCloud account access and synchronization behavior.
HealthKit
With a parent or guardian's permission, PawPals can read today's step count to complete an eligible physical task. The app does not write HealthKit data and does not persist the raw step count in SwiftData or sync it through CloudKit. HealthKit availability and permission decisions are controlled by Apple and the device owner.
Photos and user content
A parent or child may intentionally choose a photo through Apple's PhotosPicker for a task evidence record. The app stores a reduced thumbnail and optional caption with that task. It does not publish the image, send it to advertising networks, or use it for facial recognition. Deleting the child record removes the stored evidence thumbnail from the app's data set.
Parent access and notifications
The parent area is protected by a four-digit PIN stored in the device Keychain. The app uses local notifications for parent-facing review reminders when permission is granted. It does not send child-facing marketing notifications. The notification permission can be changed in iOS Settings.
Children and family safety
PawPals is designed for children and families. It does not require an account, public profile, public chat, advertising identifier, behavioral advertising, public leaderboard, or in-app purchase flow. Parents or guardians choose the child's age mode, supervise use, and decide whether a task is suitable. Family connection is limited to the household's private iCloud data and is not open social networking.
Third parties and tracking
The current app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, social, or crash-reporting SDK. It does not sell personal data. Apple's iCloud, CloudKit, HealthKit, Keychain, PhotosPicker, and notification services operate under Apple's own platform terms and privacy practices.
Retention, export, and deletion
Family records remain until changed or deleted by the user. Parent Center provides a readable data export summary and a delete action for the child profile, pet, tasks, and evidence thumbnails. If private iCloud sync is active, deletion is submitted to the same private CloudKit database and may take time to appear on another device. Ordinary iOS backup and restore behavior is controlled by the device owner.
Security and limitations
We minimize data collection and use platform protections such as Keychain and private iCloud storage, but no device, network, or storage system can be guaranteed absolutely secure. PawPals is a family routine and reflection aid; it is not medical, educational, or developmental diagnosis.

保存的信息
App 可能保存孩子昵称、出生年份和年龄档、教育理念偏好、宠物名字和物种、宠物心情与成长值、徽章、每日任务标题和分类、完成状态、自评分、家长确认状态、文字说明以及家庭主动选择的任务凭证缩略图。这些记录用于显示任务、更新宠物、提供家长确认和展示家庭进展。
本地存储与 iCloud
SwiftData 会把记录保存在设备上。当用户登录 iCloud 且 CloudKit 容器可用时，SwiftData 可能通过用户的 iCloud 私有数据库同步家庭记录。这不是公开社交动态。家庭邀请码是家庭内确认标记，并保存在孩子档案中。iCloud 账号访问和同步行为由 Apple 控制。
HealthKit
获得家长或监护人授权后，PawPals 可以读取今日步数，用于完成符合条件的体能任务。App 不写入 HealthKit，也不会把原始步数保存进 SwiftData 或通过 CloudKit 同步。HealthKit 是否可用以及权限选择由 Apple 和设备所有者控制。
照片与用户内容
家长或孩子可以通过 Apple 的 PhotosPicker 主动选择照片作为任务凭证。App 会将缩略图和可选文字说明与任务一起保存，不会公开图片，不会发送给广告网络，也不进行人脸识别。删除孩子记录会移除 App 数据中的凭证缩略图。
家长访问与通知
家长管理端由四位数字 PIN 保护，PIN 保存在设备 Keychain。获得授权时，App 可使用本地通知提醒家长处理重要任务，不发送面向孩子的营销通知。通知权限可以在 iOS 设置中修改。
儿童与家庭安全
PawPals 面向儿童和家庭，不要求账号、公开主页、公开聊天、广告标识符、行为广告、公开排行榜或 App 内购买流程。家长或监护人选择孩子年龄档、陪伴使用并判断任务是否适合孩子。家庭连接仅限家庭的私有 iCloud 数据，不是开放社交网络。
第三方服务与追踪
当前 App 不包含第三方广告、分析、追踪、社交或崩溃报告 SDK，不出售个人数据。Apple 的 iCloud、CloudKit、HealthKit、Keychain、PhotosPicker 和通知服务受 Apple 自己的平台条款和隐私实践约束。
保留、导出与删除
家庭记录会保留到用户修改或删除。家长中心提供可阅读的数据导出摘要，并可删除孩子档案、宠物、任务和凭证缩略图。若已启用私有 iCloud 同步，删除会提交到同一私有 CloudKit 数据库，另一台设备显示删除可能需要时间。普通 iOS 备份与恢复行为由设备所有者控制。
安全与使用边界
我们尽量减少数据收集，并使用 Keychain 和 iCloud 私有存储等平台保护，但不能保证任何设备、网络或存储系统绝对安全。PawPals 是家庭习惯与复盘辅助工具，不是医疗、教育或发展诊断。
